The first four selections on Side 1 were recorded in a New York studio, featuring Lennie Tristano on piano, Peter Ind on bass and Jeff Morton on drums. THEY ARE SIDE 1: LINE UP; TURKISH MAMBO and EAST THIRTY-SECOND. The remainder on the LP was recorded at “The Sing Song Room, Confucius Restaurant in New York on June 11, 1955. Joining Tristano are Lee Konitz on alto, Gene Ramey on bass and Art Taylor on drums. They are: SIDE 1: THESE FOOLISH THINGS. SIDE 2: YOU GO TO MY HEAD; IF I HAD YOU; GHOST OF A CHANCE and ALL THE THINGS YOU ARE. The Lp has a black label and is a MONO recording.

I have graded the Vinyl as EX and the record jacket as M- for the following reasons. The vinyl is clean of any marks on both sides of the LP. There are marks around the spindle hole on both sides, which brought it down from M- to EX. The vinyl still retains its original luster. The record jacket is in near mint condition. There are no taped seams. There is some slight discoloration on the liner notes, but no enough to change its grade.
