Description

On offer is a U.K. (British) pressing of Leon Russell's 1973 LP, Hank Wilson's Back Vol 1, A&M Records AMLS 68923.  Comes in a classic British laminated cover. The matrix numbers in the dead wax end in A 1 and B 1, indicating a first pressing.
Fabulous, classic country tunes.  The back of the cover identifies the musicians, some of country and rock music's best.  J J Cale plays lead guitar on practically every song.  This LP is one of my favorites.  Best songs for me are Lost Highway, Six Pack to Go, Jambalaya and Truck Drivin' Man.  I bought this record in London about ten to fifteen years ago.
The record plays great, sounds great -- full, clear and tons of depth.  No surface noise that I can hear.  The vinyl has most of its original shine and gloss.  The vinyl has maybe a few hairlines, nothing of significance.  I grade the record Excellent Plus and there are many who would call it Near Mint.
The laminated cover has no major flaws.  Slight wear.  Some slight creasing.  No splits, tears or writing.  Grades Excellent.
