LEONARD COHEN Greatest Hits LP **SIGNED** !!!.
This is an autographed copy of Leonard Cohen's Greatest Hits The album is an early 1970s pressing
unlike the other signed items i am selling, where i can directly verify the provenance, this one comes with a Certificate of Guarantee from 2004 when i bought it
I know a certificate has no real legality, but i did due diligence when i bought the album.
2004 was a year when there was little interest in Leonard, so the market for such items was limited. the signature "Leonard" definitely looks like many others i have seen - the raised loop on the e, the joined upward movement fro the curved L to the d. the fullstop after Leonard is also seen on other signatures
i have seen many examples online and 'with love,' is not uncommon, and just 'Leonard' fairly rare, but does exist. if there is one prob i'd say it is the t of 'with', but that niggle aside i'd definitely say genuine.
and although the company is no longer around i do remember at the time that it was selling a number of what seemed genuine signed items. normally sites of fakers overdo it and give themselves away.
so caveat emptor, but quod venditor habeat fiduciam, which is google Latin for 'trust this seller'
