Here's a beautiful LP by LEONARD COHEN, VARIOUS POSITIONS. This is an ORIGINAL FIRST US PRESSING released in 1985 on PASSPORT Records. CAT # PB6045. The only pressing that was released in 84 was the test pressing, so this copy is a first US pressing. Many artists of his time didn't do their best work in the 80s. In fact it was few and far between who did. Navigating trends like new wave and punk had most classic rock and other artists trying to "stay relevant", but Cohen continued to do what he always did, write great songs and keep them simple. This LP saw one of his greatest songs in HALLELUJAH, and also DANCE ME TO THE END OF LOVE. The entire LP is great. This is a great copy. The COVER is VG+ with some small splattered brown staining back top, and a touch of ringer on front. THE VINYL is NEAR MINT and looks and sounds unplayed. There were more people buying CDs at this time, so the vinyl is rarer, and of course more desirable.
