Description

The Future : Leonard Cohen For more details, please inspect the photographs closely to satisfy yourself that the description I have provided is fair and accurate. Please note: I am not a business or a record shop. This record is a duplicate from my personal Cohen collection and is why I am offering it for sale. 
The vinyl I have graded as Excellent and has clearly been well cared for prior to my buying it a few years ago. But for one small scuff mark on Side B track two, I would be confident of describing the record as Near Mint. Apart from this small mark, which is undetectable on playback, it is glossy and pristine on both sides.  For the removal of doubt, there are no other scratches or blemishes that I can see under strong natural light and playback through my system is almost flawless, with no audible clicks, pops etc to impair the sound in any way.
The sleeve is a strong VG to VG+. As shown by the photographs, there is a sticker on the front (Andy's Records) which dates the record to the 90s.There is a little age-related wear and tear to the sleeve caused by storage, leaving an outline impression of the record on the sleeve, and very slight scuffing to the cover.
There is a slight discoloration to the white background caused by natural ageing (it is nearly thirty years old!) and a smaller mark to the bottom right, which may be a water stain (just visible on photo), but this is extremely faint and barely noticeable in normal light.  The spine has a small nick about midway, and is slightly flattened for the top 2 or 3 cm and is otherwise fine.  
You will see these rare 1992 original releases change hands for 60 and 70 pounds and upwards - when they come up for sale - which isn't that often. This is realistically priced for the condition, which is why I have set a Buy it Now price for £44.99 plus postage.
Postage will be Royal Mail tracked due to the value of item.

T   The Future is the ninth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen, released in 1992. 

Almost an hour in length, it was Cohen's longest album up to that date. Both the fall of the Berlin Wall and the 1992 Los Angeles riots took place while Cohen was writing and recording the album, which expressed his sense of the world's turbulence.The album was recorded with a large cast of musicians and engineers in several different studios; the credits list almost 30 female singers. The album built on the success of Cohen's previous album, I'm Your Man, and garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews. The Future made the Top 40 in the UK album charts, went double platinum in Canada, and sold a quarter of a million copies in the U.S. which had previously been unenthusiastic about Cohen's albums. All songs written by Leonard Cohen, except where noted.
