Description
LEROY CARR
VOCALION 1241
E-
TITLES:
- How Long How Long Blues - Part 2
- Prison Bound Blues
Outstanding blues team of Leroy Carr (piano) and Scrapper Blackwell ( guitar ) on a very clean Vocalion 78 rpm recording from 1928. Carr and Blackwell had such a big hit with the original How Long blues, that they issued modified later versions. This is the second of 3 similarly titled issues.
Record has most of its surface shine with very few hardly noticeable surface marks. Looks E-, Plays E or better. Labels are clean and bright. A VERY clean recording!
