Nel retro è presente la stampigliatura NR, abbreviazione di Not Rated; grande stato, NEAR MINT / vinile pur mostrando soltanto pochi lievi segnetti minori rivela all'ascolto qualche modestissimo clicchettio e del rumore di fondo nelle zone morte fra un brano e l'altro; grande stato, EX+
Condition : cover shows a slight bump in the upper right corner. In the back there is the stamping NR, an abbreviation for Not Rated, NEAR MINT / vinyl although showing only a few minor scuffs reveals at the listening some slight clicks and a bit of background noise in the dead zones between one track and another, EX+
GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED
Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.
Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.
Note : la bella musica di Les Baxter è condotta da Cal Carter. Una grande orchestra sinfonica interpreta temi che riflettono magnificamente avventura, paura, inquietudine e sentimento spesso agitati da una forte intensità della musica. Molto buona la qualità stereofonica della registrazione.
Notes : the beautiful score of Les Baxter is conducted by Cal Carter. A big symphonic orchestra performs themes beautifully reflecting adventure, fear, apprehension and feeling often livened by a strong musical intensity. Excellent stereophonic quality of the recording.
