A pretty great album from Les – quite different than his more full on exotica albums from the time, but in a nice way! The record features lots of guitars – as you'd guess from the title – including a lot of Spanish Cubana type acoustic work that's set up in some pretty tasty acoustic grooves. The record has a strongly percussive approach that makes it sparkle nicely – and there's a bit of electricity in the guitars, creating nice hi-fi effects. Titles include "Sabre Dance", "Ritual Fire Dance", "Mandolino", "Tico Tico", "Brazilian Slave Song", "Desilusao", "Cabayo", and "Tell Me Margarita"
