COVER CONDITION: Solid VG (w/writing on back cover, but NOT on front- see pic; wear to bottom half of spine; seam split along top for approx 1"; some ring wear. Still sturdy & shiny- very suitable for framing.)
VINYL CONDITION: VG++/NM- (gorgeous with 2 light superficial marks only)

DETAILS: Great copy of this 1958 classic! The image on the cover was featured in the popular "Incredibly Strange Music" series from Re/Search! This is the rarer stereo version. Most of the copies we see here are pretty beat, but this one is lovely. Definitely a great addition to you collection!
"A real period piece, Space Escapade is a definitive slice of lounge/bachelor pad music. The music, of course, is a bit dated, although it certainly shows off Baxter's chops as a big-band leader. One reason to get the record, however, is the cover -- two astronauts holding goblets of exotic (and potentially lethal) cocktails, surrounded by three very attractive Martian women, and in the background, a silhouette of a rocket.
