Seldom heard French Library. The 2nd volume in this obscure series of psychedelic lounge. Small combo sound with funky beats and breaks galore ;) Tres groovy pop cum baroque funk with lots of fuzz distortions / wah wah / fender bass / organ / hard piano / flute and jazzy horns. For us, superior mood music to the Claude Dauray Pop In Pop and William Stanray Les Sparkles Library. Dauray is on here, along with JC. Pierric and others, including Algerian funky drummer and arranger, Gérard Gesina (his funky BLUE DIAMOND is the 6th theme into our soundclip). We've recorded most of this session, which opens with the killer PACHENKA followed by MIKOLA / POLINKA / SOPHIA / PREFIX / BLUE DIAMOND / NIKITA and other top themes like the jazz waltz of PELOTTE (with guitar - flute - muted trumpet solo) and groovy funk of ZEMBELLI by Jean Bernard Raiteux (the cult composer of Jess Franco's sleazy Les Demons erotic horror film score and other cool Library like Trafic Pop on Sonimage / Homère label Instrumental Serie No, 1 & 2 as recorded under his Jean-Michel Lorgere alias). The last 5 trax on our soundclip are OVAL / IRINA (with stylish guitar and piano refrain) / LIDA / the mod beat of BAKERLOO BRIDGE and FRIDAY GREEN to finish. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG colonna colonne bboy

Vinyl is in VG+ condition overall with some hairlines / faint scuffs / light scratches cum old needle marks. Side A has cloudy discoloration and streaking from compressed contact with the original plastic inner. Loud production sound. Surface noises but mostly due to the actual pressing quality, in general. Audible pops / ticks in places to "Lida" / "Blue Diamond" / "Friday Green" / "Bakerloo Bridge" and the odd other theme (as you can hear on our soundclip). The laminated flipback sleeve is in strong VG+ condition overall, regardless of any general wear from storage. Corner and edge wear. Ring wear and ring creasing. Some ink fading in places. Old sticker mark to top left corner area of back sleeve. Faint speckled age spots to back sleeve. Some dirt marks.
