The following info. is available online at various sources:

"One of the most sought after Japanese underground psychedelic/acid rock bands. Recorded in Kyoto, Japan in 1970, and for the first time ever on LP. Contrary to their general recognition, the musical style in this album is totally loner acid folk. The A-side includes totally downer and psycho-atmospheric songs, with desolate vocals, beautiful & spiritual. Whereas the B-side features an over 22 minutes long track called 'The Last One,' a slowly building epic with aggressive vocals, totally trippy and freaked out drenched in psychedelic fuzzy & distorted phased-out, feedback guitar-outbursts with effects and echo all over the place."

This LP from the Japanese psych-rock group Les Rallizes Denudes is a real mystery. There's absolutely no information included here except for the band name, which is stenciled onto the cover in orange paint (really nice work there) and the letters "H.O.D." which are written in blue magic marker on the center label of the record. In any case, this is a new, unplayed, thick piece of vinyl and in my opinion the material included is some of the group's best (I'm keeping a copy of my own which I purchased several years ago along with this one). I've heard a lot of Rallizes and I haven't heard these songs before. According to the distributor, there were two pressings, both of which have long since sold out, and this is a first pressing. I'm not sure if any distinguishing features mark one pressing off from the other. If you want this thing, better grab it now...
