Description
Les Rallizes Desnudes/Taj Mahal Travellers, “Oz Days Live” LP (US) 1999. This album, originally released as a double LP (with one side being devoted to each of four bands) by the Japanese Oz label in August 1973 as a document of live performances at their Oz live space, is a true “impossible to obtain” rarity in its original form. Fortunately, the two best sides, those by Les Rallizes Desnudes and the Taj Mahal Travellers, were reissued on this extremely limited edition LP in 1999. The Les Rallizes Desnudes side features four tracks of their outstanding distorto-psych-rock jamming that has influenced modern underground Japanese psych bands such as Fushitsusha, High Rise, and Acid Mother’s Temple. The Taj Mahal Travellers side contains two tracks of their patented deep, organic drone-ragas. The LP and jacket are both in excellent condition, with the LP having only a couple of minor scuffs/light sratches that do not effect play.
