LES ROYAL & TEVIBRATIONS, Gotta Make My Mind Up / Day-O Twist. Gaity label. Metal acetate recorded 2/19/63. I assume this is a Midwest group. The first side is a nice rocker, while the second side is just what is says: a twist version of the Belafonte song. To my ears, the singer is pretty good and this is a good record and I assume it is a pretty rare item.

CONDITION:nice condition with light general wear and light scuffs. Needs a cleaning. vg+

This is one of about 280 45's, picture sleeves and ep's I am listing. It is, I hope, an interesting selection of rock, soul and country 45's. Some of the items I have classified as country may be of interest to rockabilly collectors. I combine wins to save on postage, so please check out my other auctions.

Please note that I simply do not have time to spot play all these records. This means that some may sound worse than, or better than they look. I also am not familiar with all these artists, and without spot playing them, I may make some mistakes in judging the type of music they are

I have sold records through the mail for over 15 years and try to be a strict and accurate grader. Please see my grading standards below (don't be afraid of my vg+'s). I have no desire to misrepresent anything, but occasionally my eyes and/or judgment may fail me. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me and we will work something out.

GRADING STANDARDS: Unless mentioned above, the records have not been play graded.

m- = like new

vg++ = almost m-. but has been played a few times

nice vg+ = more use, but still very high quality

vg+ = inspectin shows it to be obviously used, but it is well-treated and should satisfy most listeners. May have some noticeable scuffs, but should have no scratches one can feel unless specified

weak vg+ = usually an overall vg+ that has flaws on a track or two. Sometimes, a record that has a few too many scuffs to qualify as a vg+

nice vg = obvious signs of some abuse, but should play with only light distractions

vg = more abuse, but not trashed and should be decent, if flawed, listening

weak vg, vg-, g+, g = increasingly worn and apt to be quite noisy. Hopefully these will play as well, or better, than they look, but I cannot guarantee this. Please do not expect too much from records with these grades - they are usually offered as filler, and are sold as-is

END OF AUCTION PROCEDURES: I will send you an invoice giving you my address and other payment information as soon as possible after the auction ends. I am a one person operation, and will not send out any invoices until all the items in this auction have ended, so I may not get them sent out until the following day. Please contact me, either with an email reply or a paypal payment , within three days after receiving your invoice. If you wish to email me directly, or pay through paypal, before I contact you, feel free to do so. I will mail as soon as I am able, but with the amount of items I am dealing with it may take me a couple of working days to do so.

U.S. POSTAGE: U.S. postage for one 45 is $2.50. Each additional 45, up to a total of six is an additional 25 cents (i.e. 2 45's would b $2.75, 3 would be $3.00, etc). If you win over 6 45's I will have to send you a quote since the package may then be too heavy for First Class mail. Insurance is $1.65 and is optional.

OVERSEAS POSTAGE: Overseas postage is $5.00 for one 45. I will send you a quote if you win more than one 45.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ: Please note that overseas postal service, especially between the U.S. and Europe, has been unreliable. I have experienced several delays, and one package was, apparently, lost. Please be aware that I am not responsible for uninsured packages and that there is little I can do about dealyed packages sent by letter post. I welcome overseas bids, but the transactions are undertaken at your risk.
