LESTER YOUNG with THE OSCAR PETERSON TRIO: OSCAR PETERSON, BARNEY KESSEL, RAY BROWN and  J.C.HEARD. 1955 UK ISSUE 10" LP: 33C 9001 on the COLUMBIA ("CLEF" SERIES) Record Label.

This is a "hard to find" UK 10" pressing (MGN-5A:MGN-5B) of "Lester Young with the Oscar Peterson Trio" is a studio album by Lester Young, accompanied by the Oscar Peterson Quartet, although the title incorrectly states the band is a trio. It was recorded on 4th August 1952 in New York City under the supervision of Norman Granz.

This copy was released in the UK in 1955 on the Columbia ("Clef" series) Label with classic front cover artwork.
