I have certainly never seen one on eBay before. A few times European versions have popped up but never one from it's land of origin.
This is Leviathan's first single and one of the rare, legally released, reasons why The Mike Stuart Span - Leviathan's previous incarnation - are held in such righteous awe by Psych collectors.
It is a great urgent, driving single written by singer Stuart Hobday all liberally drenched in Brian Bennett's magnificent guitar. That would be enough but the disc is backed by the brilliant, brooding, lengthy "Second Production" complete with those deliciously phased drums.
The record is is genuinely very good condition - the usual hairlines/surface marks but no proper scratches - it plays out loud, deep and full.
The labels are bright, clean and clear and though "centred" retain the proud bright orange and silver livery of 60s Elektra. There is a small (though unbroken) scuff on the side two label above the word "Side" (pictured). The original company bag is all present and correct.
But what a fantastically rare chance to posess one of the major highpoints of UK psych. From 1969 direct to your ears.
Here, for once, the reputation of a record is matched, then outstripped, by the actual sound. A truly killer double dose from a legendary group almost lost to rock history.
