Description
ARTIST/TITLE, etc: The Lewis Connection. 1979 lp by a mInneapolis soul group has Prince playing guitar and singing backup vocals on one track - "Got to Be Something There." No label or number on this privately pressed lp. Rare.
COVER: nice condition but it is largely white and shows ring wear and light general wear. weak vg+
RECORD: nice condition with very light general wear with a couple of light scuffs. I'll grade it a vg+ but it could perhaps be upped a notch to a "nice vg+."
See my other auctions for similar items and save on postage.
Unless mentioned above, the records have not been play graded. My grading standards for records are:
m- = like new
vg++ = almost m-, but has been played a few times
nice vg+ = more use, but still very high quality
vg+ = inspection shows signs of obvious use such as light scuffs and light genreal wear; still, a well-treated item that should satisfy most listeners. Should have no scratches one can feel unless specified
weak vg+ = usually, an overall vg+ that has flaws on a track or two. Sometimes, a records that has a few too many scuffs to qualify as a vg+
nice vg = obvious signs of some abuse, but should play close to vg+ although there will likely be some distractions
vg= more obvious abuse, but not trashed and should be decent, if flawed, listening
weak vg, vg-, g+, g = increasingly worn and apt to be quite noisy. Hopefully these will play as well, or better, than they look, but I cannot guarantee this. Pleasedo not expect too much from records with these grades. They are offered, at least somewhat, as filler and are sold as-is.
END OF AUCTION PROCEDURES: I will send you an email giving you my address and other payment information as soon after the auction ends as possible. Usually, this will be within 24 hours, although occasionally it may be a bit longer. Please contact me, either through an email reply, or through a paypal payment within three days. If you wish to email me directly, or pay through paypal, before I contact you, please feel free to do so.
U.S.POSTAGE: U.S. postage is $3.00 for media mail or $6.00 for priority. Please add $1.30 if you would like insurance. Uninsured packages are sent at the buyer’s risk.
OVERSEAS POSTAGE: Overseas rates will be quoted. I do not quote insurance for overseas packages in my end-of-auction emails. It usually entails a much greater expense, and most customers do not want it. If you do want it, please let me know. ***European customers please note that postal service between the U.S. and Europe has been somewhat unreliable during the last year or so. The majority of transactions still are problem free, but I have had a couple payments lost, and some packages delayed, or apparently, lost. Cash is sent at your risk, and I am not responsible for uninsured packages.
PAYMENT: Timely payment is expected. I accept paypal, money orders and checks. Checks will be held for clearance on the more expensive items and/or for customers with a low feedback rating.
Thank you for looking. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
