Description

Legendary country blues artist Sam Lightnin' Hopkins recorded this LP for Samuel Charters on January 16, 1959 in Houston, Texas. The 10 cuts are, Penitentiary Blues, Bad Luck and Trouble, Come go With Me, Trouble Stay 'way from My Door, Goin' Back to Florida,  Reminiscences of Blind Lemon, Fan It, Tell Me, Baby and She's Mine.  First label blue/silver deep groove LP has minimal spindle trails, good luster and light surface marks causing only occasional light surface noise. Jacket has good cover art with very light shelf wear, small top center seam split and minor corner wear, There is small upper right sticker damage, see pictures. Includes original booklet in VG+ condition. A very fine copy of this collectible LP.
