A record and artist that surely needs no introduction these days. Possibly the best single-album acid folk artist who ticks all the right boxes whether you be a Joni Mitchell fan, a folk-psych nut - or both.
This is a beautiful record in a great looking sleeve.
The sleeve has no obvious ring wear (although the front photo, with her whispy hair, might give that impression). Faint sticker shadow top right and small stain beneath. Minimal rubbing along the spines with the beginnings of a split at the lower left corner, but the spine writing is intact and legible and the sleeve remains structurally sound. Rear is very slightly grubby with a tiny stain bottom centre.
Record looks great with a few scuffs and hairlines - it plays beautifully with occasional light crackle and no signs of wear. There is a general consensus that the Kapp pressings of this album were not perfect, but this sounds as good as the other copies I have heard.
Label is almost perfect apart from an unobtrusive crease on one side from the pressing plant. There are no obvious spindle marks.
Overall a lovely copy. Sorry to see it go - but I can't justify owning two copies!
