Description
Up for auction is a nice copy of the classic Linda Scott album "Starlight Starbright" originally released in the U.S. on Canadian-American Records (CALP 1005) in 1961.
-Guaranteed original pressing -Rare Mono pressing -Deep groove labels -Laminated paste-down cover -Heavy inflexible vinyl
Condition: The cover is in beautiful condition with only minor signs of age. Front lamination is nice and shiny, no ring or rubbing wear, just a small lifting in upper left. Back is bone white, no ring wear or writing. Seams are strong, no splits or separations. Corners are nice, one has tiny crease. Great looking cover, well-preserved. Grade it Near Mint Minus (NM-).
The vinyl is in nice condition, still has much of its original shine and luster. No serious scratches or scuffs, just some very light hairlines on both sides, but nothing that will affect quality of playback. Labels are clean. Play-tested, the record, when played in MONO mode as recommended, sounds nice with a hint of surface noise here and there in the quiet passages, but it's not noticeable when the music really kicks in. Not audiophile clean, but still very nice and enjoyable. Grade the vinyl Very Good Plus (VG+). Nice record.
