?LINDY & THE LAVELLS-45-"Gonna Be Free" b/w "There's My Baby"-Red Feather Records No #; Matrix number: V-1803-1/2-UltraCool & Scarce 1964 Albuquerque, New Mexico Garage-Punk-Early effort by New Mexico writer/producer/musician/ICON Lindy Blasky aka Lindy Blaschke. Actually not really Garage-punk in the traditional sense; more on the early Bobby Fuller 4/Richie Valens scale of cool...both sides have the same cool vibe...A side has a nice lead guitar break in the Holly/Fuller/Valens tradition...pressed on see-through GREEN VINYL (see photo)...One of Lindy's rarest records... Condition: Record is VG-; some light surface scuffs visible in certain light angles...some obvious background noise on tail-out ob B side due to pressing NOT condition, possibly the color vinyl... Label has some light wear...
