Here's a killer LP from LINK WRAY. LINK WRAY AND THE WRAYMEN US LP 1963. LN3661, A second pressing, but still extremely rare. It's the greatest instrumental guitar LP of early Rock, IMO. He throws down the gauntlet for anyone to touch what he does. It's badass, and remains so to this day. It didn't sell well upon release because it was so radical. I mean in 1963, The Beatles who were considered radical, wanted to hold her hand. Wray was dark and powerful, and played the guitar like nobody had. This LP is a classic, and would be one of my first choices to grab for early rock.
COVER WEAK VG+ The front has a little ring wear, and a few bends that somehow camouflage themselves well (see photos). Bottom seam has some shelf wear. The spine is very nice, and has 1/2" rubbing at the very top. Back cover is beautiful and with slight overall toning from age. It's more typical to see heavy cover wear and major seam splits with this LP.
VINYL VG Yes, there are background surface sounds, but the music shines way over it. Much of those sounds occur at the beginning or end of the songs or between tracks. There are no skips or jumps or anything close. It's a clean great play, albeit with hairlines. The album is very very rare, and gets great prices in any condition. This is a fantastic copy, even with faint/slight background. I love it so much I just played it twice.
