Description
I found this record at a Falls Church, VA estate sale in a box of classical 78 rpm sets. When I asked about it, the lady whose parents had lived in the home told me that she'd bought it at a Link Wray performance and forgot she had it. Her folks apparently didn't approve of rock, so she never played it.
This is a rare find indeed - only about 500-1000 copies of this records are believed to have been pressed and I can pretty much promise you that you will not find another one in this condition ever.
It does appear to have never been played. The original gloss is on the cover - there is gentle scuffing near Link's head. Corners are excellent if not perfect. Original sleeve. No marks of any kind on the record. The labels are pristine.
No record of mine will be graded M by me, even if sealed. I usually reserve NM for factory sealed records, but for this record it fits. I doubt if the record came in shrink as Vermillion was run by Link's brother and these records were for fans only.
Check the pics and my feedback. I think you'll agree that this is quite the find. The pics should tell the whole story, but I can do more on request.
