LIONEL HAMPTON QUINTET og dg mono lp 1954 Clef MGC 628 soul jazz vinyl VG+ vibes Shipping Info Description Vintage lp: THE LIONEL HAMPTON QUINTET - the original release on Clef Records, MG C-628, hi-fi/mono, deep groove, black labels with text and trumpeter logo in silver, no "Columbia" on the cover or labels; 4 tracks, released in 1954. Matrix stampers are MGC-628-A-PE1 / MGC-628-B-RE1.
Condition: VG+/EX (the vinyl still has some gloss, with moderate scuffing and a few light scratches, a couple of which I can feel with a thumbnail, but it plays through and sounds VG+ with some light background; minor label rubbing; the jacket is very clean except for some moderate rubbing to spine and bottom edge, minimal rubbing to top edge, minor corner rubbing, some light cover rubbing, small ink initial to back cover).
