Ultra Rare South African Jazz LP!
Alan Kwela 'Reflections' (Ring, 1977)
Side A: Reflections Side B: Kwela Rock 'N Rhythm / S'Boneile
Cover: vg (laminated, with crinkled laminate, some damage to opening corners, edge wear, ring wear back see photos, but structurally sound) vinyl: Ex+ very clean, glossy, some very light paper scuffs side two, one very light mark at end of s'boneile dnap. Plays perfect, loud, minimal noise.
Great LP from South African jazz guitar giant Alan Kwela (sometimes spelled Allen Kwela), artist behind the killer Allen's Soul Bag and Black Beauty LPs on Atlantic City and Soweto labels. Heavy, funky 1970s mbaqanga jazz, with elements of bump jive. Personnel not listed. Super obscure, never blogged or reissued - a very, very rare record in great condition.
