LITA ROZA WITH THE TONY KINSEY QUARTET

LISTENING IN THE AFTER-HOURS

VERY RARE 10" DECCA LF1243

GRADED VG / VG+

Very hard to find and collectable 10" Decca recording by Lita Roza backed by the Tony Kinsey Quartet. The vinyl is visualy Vg+ with only a few light paper scuffs and hairlines and one larger scuff. However it is marked down to Vg as the hairlines cause a few clicks as follows;

side 1 track 2 - 5 light clicks

track 3 - about 18 light clicks

track 4 - couple of pops

side 2 track 1 - 3 clicks

track 4 - scuff previously mentioned causes 6 or 7 light clicks

Although there are a few clicks in places as listed this recording still sounds wonderful and these faults do not detract greatly from this.

The half moon flipback sleeve is fully laminated and is VG+ with a little chipping to the front opening edge, a little laminate lift on the opening edge and spine and slightly bumped corners. The original Decca inner is excellent.

Still a more than presentable copy of this sought after recording.
