Oooh - those guitar licks. It's pretty much impossible not to feel like the slickest person in any room when you're kicking back to Little Barrie's spectacularly groove-laden Gravity Freeze. And, of course, the room itself will automatically be the slickest on the planet. Albeit there's nothing remotely automated about this garage-funk-kraut-and-roll gem. Oozing laidback sunglasses swagger and psychedelia, it's anything but surprising to learn the group's music has been used in a slew of visual fodder. From Rimmel adverts to Channel 4 comedies and the Breaking Bad spinoff series, Better Call Saul. Proof - perhaps when it is absolutely needed the most - that there's still some cool left in Britannia. No matter what some voices keep shouting at us about.
