I will be offering a selection from my personal collection of 60s to early 70s Garage, Pop and Rock.

     LITTLE BOY BLUES    "IN THE WOODLANDS OF WEIR"   FONTANA SRF 67578   1968

 

  Garage band formed in Chicago Il in 1965 and who put out five singles and this sole album. The first four were harder hitting on small local labels and their final "Its only You/Is Love" which was taken from this album. Vocalist Mark Caplan went on to play with the Wizards from Kansas. Eleven originals from this interesting four piece band. There music was a mix of garage/blues and rock. Titles include "Cathedral", "I'm Hip to You", "Mr Tripp Wouldn't Listen", "Jazz is Love" and "The Fox''. Guitar, organ, bass, flute combo works well. A bit low key but still a fine example of late sixties Psych Blues Rock.

 

 

RECORD: VG (-)  High Gloss, some spindle wear, numerous lite scuffs and a few scratches, but plays very good

COVER: VG+  Very Good condition overall except for some minor cover wear on the front and more noticable on the back with...No front ring wear, writings, stains, stickers, seam splits, cut outs or other damage
