LITTLE CLARKIE & THE OFFBEAT POSSE - Selector Him Good, COLONEL MITE - Bless The Selector / Select The Rythm (Jah Tubbys JT015) - 12" - 1986
Decent original pressing of this highly sought-after Jah Tubbys 12" featuring Little Clarkie & The Offbeat Posse's Selector Him Good and Colonel Mite's next cut Bless The Selector backed by the version. It appears that the record has been stored without a sleeve for some of its life as there are numerous light and lightish surface marks, some fine, light hairlines, and a few fine, light scratches (mostly on the B-side plus two very light ones on the Colonel Mite cut) - nothing serious - see descriptions below. Both sides actually play better than they look - check-out the sound clips.
A-side: There is a very small improving to tiny amount of intermittent background surface noise. There are four prominent clicks at the start of Track 1, thereafter there are tiny and some very small pops and clicks plus an occasional slightly more prominent one. The two very light scratches on Track 2 cause clicks that range from virtually inaudible to small, mostly being tiny / very small. Grade - Track 1: VG+ improving quickly to EX-. Track 2: EX- down to VG+/EX-
B-side: There is a very small amount of intermittent background surface noise with tiny, very small and some small pops and clicks plus an occasional more prominent one. Grade - VGLabels: There is a name written in biro on the A-side label (see scan), while the B-side label is near pristine.
