Description
Although my entire career has been accented on what has come to be known as the Tex Mex Chicano band, it has always been my desire to sing and record with the well-established type of group called Conjuntos.
Even though I've never been part of such a group (Conjunto), it has always been a very favorite type of musical group in my life.
Los Carnales, our latest LP on BSR contains my first experience with the Conjunto de Tata Vela and his gang from San Jose, California. It was rehearsed, arranged, and recorded at Tiki Studios in San Jose, California, A & R by Tony Matamoros, engineered by Grady.
This album is dedicated to all the Conjuntos that we all love, appreciate and have helped me arrive here.
