LITTLE JUNIOR PARKER: Mary Jo/Annie Get Your Yo-Yo (1962, UK Vogue Pop 45-V 9193)
For auction is this extremely rare blues/R&B 45 by Little Junior Parker on the always collectable UK Vogue Pop label. This 1962 groove keeps one dancing foot strongly in the coming R&B market particularly on the mod belter Annie Get Your Yo-Yo and is an absolute gem of the 60s dance club vibe. You simply never see UK pressings of this wonderful record. Well here one is..
The condition is magnificent. The vinyl, nearly 60 years old now, is amazingly still shiny, dark and glossy. There are no scratches, scuffs or even hairlines as far as I can see. The labels are as perfect as the day they left the factory, jet black and vibrant sliver. It even comes in its birth bag which, while simply brown paper, is the authentic original.
I cannot imagine this disc and in this condition will ever appear here again.
