Description
From 1960, comes Little Miss Cornshucks with her LP The Loneliest Gal In Town on Chess LP1453 MONO black label deep groove both sides of label. Scarce LP by Little Miss Cornshucks. Not many were pressed of this album. She achieved R&B fame in the late 40s and early 50s and retired from the music business. At the urging of Ralph Bass, a Chess recording director, she came out of retirement to make this album and then retired again! She is backed by Riley Hampton, Sonny Thompson, Walter Cole, Johnny Gray, Reggie Boyd,and Phil Thomas.
Two inch seam splits upper and lower right emanating from seam opening,wear alongseams,banged upper and lower left corner,factory stamp upper right rear cover,light browning along open seam rear cover.
Cover is better than VG+ but not VG++, record has light spindle mark on label and is VG++!!
Any glares/reflections/shadows in photos are just from my camera!
