Description
Here's a mystery disc with a pair of crude, circa-1965 garage rock tracks. It's a 7", 45 rpm Audiodisc acetate with some identifying scrawl on one label. One side is listed as “I’m Waiting,” although it’s clear from the lyrics that it was probably meant to be “I’ll Be Waiting.” The B-side has no title listed. The singer, whom I presume was also the “lyricist,” sounds like he had two brain cells and about the same amount of charisma, but the guitarist has a knack for interesting rhythm parts. There is no traceable info on someone named "Little Ralph" in a garage band (and this can't be Ralph Scala of Blues Magoos). Mystery aside, I could see the A-side showing up on some sketchy compilation, thanks mainly to the screaming at the break and the wiry vibrato guitar part that follows. The disc is in VG condition with light scuffs and scratches, some crackle and in a couple of spots, groove noise. Listen below.
