LITTLE RICHARD LP, THE KING OF THE GOSPEL SINGERS - This is a US "HIGH FIDELITY" MONO pressing from 1964. It's on the blue WING RECORDS label, a division of MERCURY. The INNER is from DOT records, so it may have gotten switched somehow over the years... Most think of Little Richard from his Tutti Fruiti days, but his career was incredible. In the early 60's he turned away from the music that made him a star, and embraced the music of the lord. He was a great gospel artist, and this genre of his music should be more widely explored. This is a fantastic LP. I pair it on Sundays with Staple Singers, and other spiritual music. He approached these LPs with passion, and gave it his all. His performance here is amazing.
COVER is VG+. Has handling and wear. The seams and spine are solid with no splits or frays. Corners are great.Top left back cover down along the opening has some brown spottiness, possibly from sun exposure. The rest of the back cover is great
VINYL plays between VG to VG+. Has a couple tics, but with very clean background. The vinyl looks extremely clean. Plays loud and clear.
