Description

A truly rare collectible. An original early 50's white label, DJ pressing of RCA Victor 20-4582, "Get Rich Quick" b/w "Thinkin' 'Bout My Mother" by the one and only LITTLE RICHARD. This was one of the young Georgia Peach's very first recordings in the early 1950's, several years before he signed with Specialty Records and set the rock and roll world on its ears!! His early records were solidly swingin' jump blues but the unique Richard vocal style still managed to peak through a tiny bit. We're not even sure if this single was pressed on 45 RPM, this is a first pressing 78 RPM single and RCA pressed it on unbreakable plastic vinyl, not the delicate shellac of retail 78's - important because the vinyl affords vastly superior audio quality to the trypically noisy shellac 78's. This super rare disc is in incredibly solid VG++ condition - seldom played and safely stored!! The vinyl looks great!!! One label has a tiny ink mark while the other (see photo) has "F" hand written and a small sticker was removed.
