Original UK issue of this classic Little Richard LP.

Original 1967 blue/silver Columbia labels with “The Gramophone Co Ltd”   and   “Sold in UK…” text. 

OKS 14117 A-1   &   OKS 14117 B-1    earliest matrix numbers. 

Original front laminated flipback sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. 

With original EMI advertising inner sleeve.  

CONDITION:       I strive to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition.  It’s in my best interests to do so.  I WANT YOU TO COME BACK!    All records are checked in good natural light and play tested at a loud volume (unless described as sealed, brand new or stated otherwise).   All used records are cleaned using a Moth vacuum record cleaning machine prior to play testing.    STRICT  U.K. MAGAZINE  'RECORD COLLECTOR'  GRADING SYSTEM USED.

SUPERB PLAYING CONDITION!     Album plays EX+/NrMINT.    Record clearly has had little previous play.    Plays consistently well throughout with just a very occasional odd pop here and there.    No huge difference compared to a brand new record.   Even nice and quiet in between tracks.      Overall, NO noticeable surface noise  NO crackle  NO loud consecutive clicks  NO distortion  NO jumps  NO sticking.   If you can find a better playing example, well done. 

Visually the vinyl is NrMINT.   Very few and light surface-only marks.   A couple of small light satin spots on side which no effect on play.    Vinyl surface looks nice and clean and retains its original sheen.  Not far off from looking new. 

Labels are NrMINT.    Just a couple of light spindles.   NO writing.   NO stickers.

Cover grades as EX, if not better.    Some discolouration on the back – not severe.   Very minor corner wear.   All edges still nice and neat.   All spine text perfectly readable.   NO seam splits.  NO tears.  NO writing.  NO stickers.

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface

POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
