Thank you for looking at my listing

If you plan on bidding please read my description below regarding shipping options and cost prior to bidding.

This record is from my personal collection

This listing is for a rare, original blues LP from the late 1950's featuring one of the blues greatest artists and who many consider the greats blues harmonica player of all time, LITTLE WALTER.

This listing is for a rare original US CHESS BLACK LABEL with SILVER PRINT, Deep Groove LP 1428 of LITTLE WALTER "THE BEST OF".

LITTLE WALTER- "The Best Of" - Black Label with Silver Print 1957 Chess Records Mono LP-1428

This record consists of twelve songs, eleven of witch are LITTLE WALTER originals with the exception of "My Babe" witch was written for him, performed as only this legendary blue harmonica player could.  Certainly one off the best blues LP's ever recorded and a must if you're a collector.  No collection of the Blues is complete without it.

Please take a look at the photos below.

Please note that unless otherwise noted, all records are graded visually and not play graded.

Condition:  The vinyl is in VG to a Weak VG+ Condition.  The previous owner engraved his name on the trail off/dead wax and the vinyl has lots of very light fine scratches, light scuffs and sleeve marks.  These are however very light and should play without skips although it may play with some background noise.

The cover is in VG Condition with a fold on the upper right corner and a small area were the gloss finish on the pasted cover on the right upper corner bellow CHESS LP 1428 has been removed I'm guessing due to someone having removed a price sticker.  The remainder of the cover is in fairly nice shape although it has some creases were the pasted cover has lifted a bit.

The back of the jacket is in VG++ condition, very clean with no stains.

As with most of my auctions it is being listed without a reserve.

All records will be very well packaged and shipped in a proper record mailer.

Shipping:  I offer the following shipping options due to requirements of Paypal that a tracking number be supplied by the seller to Paypal as proof of shipment if a buyer puts in a claim for an item not received.

Canada:  All records will be shipped by "Xpresspost" at a cost of $10.00 US.

United States:  Auctions ending at less than $100.00 will be shipped by "Small Packet (Air)" at a cost of $12.00.  Auctions ending at $100.00 or higher will be shipped "Expedited-USA" which includes a tracking number at a cost of: $17.00 US.  Please be aware that "Expedited" is sent mostly by surface and therefore depending on your State this method could take up to three weeks for delivery.  If you wish to receive it quicker, the package can be shipped through "Xpresspost" which is sent by air and includes a tracking number at a cost of $29.00 US.

Overseas Shipping:  Auctions ending at less than $75.00 will be shipped by "Small Packet" (Air) at a cost of $19.00 US.  This is the quickest least expensive method but please note that there is no tracking number available for items shipped by this method.  Auctions ending at $75.00 or higher will only be shipped by "Xpresspost" which is quite expensive at approximately $65.00 US.  The cost does vary somewhat depending on the destination country therefore I will email the buyer with the final shipping cost at the end of the auction.

Insurance:  The first $100.00 is covered but anything above is $2.00 extra for every $100.00.  Insurance is highly recommended as I will not be responsible for items not insured for the appropriate amount.

Combined Shipping:  I will be glad to combine shipping in order to save on the shipping costs.  The combined shipping cost will be calculated on the total number of LPs and will be the exact amount that it costs me to ship the package.

Please Note:  I will not make exceptions to the above shipping methods.  I will not ship any item to ITALY or the RUSSIAN FEDERATION.  Please do not ask as I will not respond to your request.

Payment:  Payment is expected within three days of auction ending.

Please accept my apologies for the lengthy shipping description but the reason for this is that my concern is that the buyer receives the items they have purchased without any problems.

Now that we have that all out of the way, I thank you for looking at my listings and wish you the best of luck should you decide to bid.  Please take a look at my ratings.  I have sold a large quantity of items on eBay including a number of records and have 100% positive feedback.

I have been selling on eBay for a number of years and do my best to accurately describe the items I have listed, but different people view different things in different ways.  If for some reason after receiving your item you feel that my description was not accurate and you are not pleased, contact me and I'm confident that we can work it out.

Thanks,
Edward
