You are bidding on "CRYING THE BLUES" and "LITTLE GIRL" on Cobra 5011, by famous blues singer and harp player LITTLE WILLIE FOSTER.
Both sides were recorded in Chicago, 1957, with Little Willie Foster on vocals and blues harp, Lazy Bill Lucas on piano, Floyd Jones on guitar, probably Willie Dixon on bass and Walter Spriggs on drums.
Willie (Willy) Foster was born in the Dublin, Mississippi in 1922 and died in Chicago in 1987.
"Crying The Blues" is the "A" side, is very well done with interesting lyrics, difficult to understand, so look them up on the internet. "Little Girl" has very similar sound.
Condition: I would call this a Very Good+. There's a faint scuff on Crying The Blues and the labels appear to have light foxing. Odd this has foxing as my other Cobras don't have it and have been stored the same in Decca 45 albums for 40 years.
I'm not a record dealer, but am getting up in years and am starting to sell my small collection, as my children and grandchildren are not interested.
I bought this record new in the spring of 1961 at Rose Record Store on Wabash Avenue in the Chicago Loop. They were cleaning out their 45 rpm files and had thousands of 45s for sale at six for a dollar. I bought lots of Blues, R&B and R&R records. This was one of them.
