Description
This LP came from my father's collection of mostly classical and jazz recordings, but he had about 20 blues LPs. His collection spanned several decades and media forms (LP, R2R, cassette, CD). I'm not an audiophile, I don't have a record player and I'm not a musician (he played jazz sax in his youth). I won't attempt to rate the condition of the sleeve or record but I'll do my best to describe them physically and try to give as much detail as possible given the value of this record. I have not listened to this record.
Sleeve: Front looks glossy with just two pinhead spots of worn print. The seams are all intact showing glossy printed color and just minor wear to the corners. The open side upper corner is slightly curved forward and the lower corner slightly pushed inward. Shelf wear consists of two shallow indentations from the storage rack my father used (the shelf was not as wide as the record). The rear is faded to between white and yellow, has some ring wear and wear to the center, and a half-inch square darker area in the top left corner that looks like it was from a price sticker. The inner sleeve has been replaced with a Discwasher VRP sleeve.
Record: The multi-color label has no marks on either side and the hole appears round. The record appears glossy and free of scratches. There are a couple very light scuffs on both sides but it takes the right viewing angle to see these. The record is dusty and needs cleaning but I don't see any other signs of wear or damage.
Ships in a Sleeve City USA box designed for LP shipping. The record will be separated from the sleeve for shipping. Sells and ships to the confirmed PayPal address of the buyer only, not to any other person or address.
