Description

LP vinyl record called "Live at the Embankment". Released on the Tribune Record label, catalogue number TRLP 1001. No date of release on record or sleeve but circa 1967. This live recording features the cream of the Irish folk scene as it was in the late sixties and features Anne Byrne, Shay Healy, Donal Lunny, We4, Al O'Donnell, Paddy Reilly etc. (see photos for track listing). The sleeve was designed by Robert Ballagh. Rear of the sleeve has photos of the artists (nice photo of Anne Byrne). The Embankment in Tallaght was the premier live music venue for folk music lovers in Dublin in the late sixties. Sleeve has a slightly dusty appearance on the back but is in pretty good condition. Vinyl has some sleeve scuffs, as you might expect on a vinyl record that's almost 50 years old, but plays perfectly.
