Description

Up for auction is a rare, original promo copy of the L.L. Cool J album "Radio" originally released on Def Jam Records (BFC 40239) in 1985.

-Guaranteed original First Pressing, not reissue like most on eBay
-Rare promotional copy w/ gold embossed stamp
-First Pressing 1A etched in matrix
-"Herbie Jr." etched in matrix
-Mastering By FrankFord/Wayne New York in matrix
-Original insert/inner sleeve

Condition:
The cover is in very nice condition with no significant signs of wear or age.  Front and back are clean, no ring wear, just a hint or rub on back upper middle.  Seams are strong, intact, no splits, just a little rub here and there, nothing serious.  A little rub here and there along open edge.  Corners are nice, sharp, with a hint of rub.  Grade: Excellent (EX), not quite Near Mint.

The vinyl is also in very nice condition, still retains its original high gloss shine and luster.  No obvious scratches or scuffs, just some light superficial and faint hairlines from taking the vinyl out of paper inner sleeve a few times.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play or handling.  Looks like this record has been played only once or twice.  Most copies of this record are heavily marked, but this one is very well-preserved and cared for.  Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-).
