Lloyd Price (born March 9, 1933) is an American R&B vocalist. Known as "Mr. Personality", after the name of one of his biggest million-selling hits. His first recording, "Lawdy Miss Clawdy" was a huge hit on Specialty Records in 1952, and although he continued to turn out records, none were as popular until several years later, when he refined the New Orleans beat and achieved a series of national hits. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

I have been collecting records for the last 55 years, mainly early rock, doo wop, country and western - - - you name it, I’ve got it. I also inherited my father’s collection, mainly C & W in 1984. So I presently have over 20 000 records that have been stored with care. I have many hundreds of LPs that are still sealed. Many of my records are rare and hard to come by. There are both American and Canadian pressings.  It’s time to let them go and I’m beginning with some 78’s.

VG+ :   VERY  GOOD COLLECTOR ITEM- HAS SOME IMPERFECTIONS – MAY PLAY WITH SOME   NOISE,  ESPECIALLY AT THE BEGINNING.

VG :     PLAYS THROUGH WITH NO SKIPPING. USUALLY PLAYS BETTER THAN IT LOOKS.  HAS SOME SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES.

G :        ITEM IN ROUGH SHAPE. SKIPPING MAY BE PRESENT BUT MOST LIKELY PLAYS THROUGH - COPY TO HAVE JUST TO SAY THAT YOU HAVE ONE IN YOUR COLLECTION.
