Orginally from Las Vegas, where they were known as The Weeds they migrated to Portland, Oregon and changed their name when The Seeds' manager Lord Tim took them on. Band leader, Fred Cole later formed seventies band Zipper. Cole's vocals are very distinctive and your reaction to the album will largely be determined by how you respond to them. The opening cut You Must Be A Witch is reminiscent of Love at their most frantic. Other strong tracks on the album are the slower sensitive punk ballad Underground Railroad, Don't Close The Door On Me and the more commercial Its Only A Reflection. The album has been repressed, and pirated on CD. Fred Cole remains active on the music scene with the highly regarded cult act Dead Moon.
