Since introducing themselves with near anonymous posts of two songs (Hey Now and Metal & Dust) late last year, London Grammar quickly captured the interest, and more importantly, the imagination of music fans across the globe. Following the success of debut EP Metal & Dust, the quiet buzz surrounding London Grammar has accelerated into more of a subtle roar; with the band joining The xx's self-curated Night + Day Festival in London and also snagging a spot on Disclosure's new album, featuring on track 'Help Me Lose My Mind'. They've also played/set to play Glastonbury, Ibiza Rocks, Camp Bestival, Bestival and Secret Garden Party. Their hefty summer festival roster follows on from two sold out shows at Electrowerkz and Islington Assembly Hall in London.

Heavily involved in every decision made on the album, the band handpicked their team, working closely with producers Tim Bran (The Verve, Richard Ashcroft, La Roux) and Roy Kerr AKA The Freelance Hellraiser. Striving for the best possible result, they drafted in Roc Nation's KD (Outkast, Beyonce, Jay-Z) to mix the record, alongside Grammy-winning Tom Coyne (Adele's 21) from Sterling, joining them to master.

Tracks like 'If You Wait' and 'Flickers' possess that strange duality of lament and defiance, filled with textures, colours, shadings and interjections that are subtle yet deliver devastating power. 'Strong', is the final, killer blow. Building “ as you would expect from London Grammar “ from nothing, from the barest of bones, Hannah's soaring vocals propels the song to its crashing climax. More than delivering on their promise, London Grammar's electrifying debut solidifies them as being one of the most exciting and innovative bands to emerge in 2013.
