Description

I have 2 massive box's of stuff I dragged down from the loft. Most of this stuff belonged to my brother from his press agency days and hasn't seen the light of day for 20 - 30 years - includes loads of signed records and other cool stuff. A lot of the records have never been played and some are still sealed in shrinkwrap. This will be the last of the punk and I'll be listing it over the next couple of weeks. More classic rock/metal etc to come so keep checking my listings every week!

Ultra rare original UK issue 7" on the Warner Bros label K17491 from 1979. One of the most sought after UK punk singles, this was their withdrawn debut single. This was produced by Sham 69's Jimmy Pursey but when his J.P label fell through Warner Bros. released it and inexplicably withdrew it after 1 week. It was estimated that only 200+ got out which obviously makes this highly sought after by worldwide collectors. Pursey helped the band get a UK tour with The Chords but they split up after the first night. They later reformed in 1981 and released a few more singles. 'By Your Love' is a 60's influenced number, '1970's Boy' on the flip side is an absolute punk stormer! Complete with original super rare picture sleeve. You may never see another one of these - don't miss! Condition - sleeve ex- (bit of wear across the opening,no rips,splits,writing etc), disc ex- (has a few light hairlines but plays excellent, a few crackles on the run-in - no problem)
