LONNIE JOHNSON "MR. JOHNSON'S BLUES 1926-1932" mono lp on Mamlish S 3807 US issue (1975) VG+/VG.  

I would grade this lp VG+. It plays great, but has some minimal noise that was not there when the record was new. It may also have visual marks, consistent with a well cared for, but appreciated, record that’s had a moderate amount of play. This LP still plays great and has lots of shine and is beautiful overall. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). ALL LPS COME TO YOU FRESHLY CLEANED AND PLAY READY. FOR MAXIMUM  RESULTS RECLEAN EACH SIDE  AFTER INITIAL PLAY (SOME OF MY LPS HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR 40 YRS. OR MORE.) This is a very clean copy of this that plays very well. This was a great US Blues reissue label comparable to Yazoo in my opinion (and that is high praise).  Stephen Calt even does the liner notes here. This displays Johnson's diversity as a accompanist, pianist and singer. This is just great and not too easy to track down.

The Jacket: In blue ink, my initials back upper left, an x back lower left. A very functional jacket. I would rate the cover VG overall with corner and seam wear. 3/4" top corner split and a small fabric tear bottom left front. Still a nice jacket.    (I will only be citing things not visible in pictures).
