ORIGINAL UK issue on RCA from 1975. Recorded for ‘Flying Dutchman’ in the USA.
Lonnie Liston Smith’s followed up his groundbreaking ‘Expansions’, album with this ‘Visions of a New World’ set in 1975 retaining the core of his band. The album is a really funky slab of Jazz Funk , with a heavy bass line and a message even more relevant now than 40 years ago, featuring his brother Donald on vocals.
