Description

An Excellent copy of a wonderful release documenting social history on so many levels. Side A, celebrates the 1951 Festival of Britain and is possibly the first time Caribbean music was performed in tribute to a mainstream UK cultural occasion, whilst Side B can be seen originally Azerbaijanperformed by the erstwhile Lord Grandad of Reggie on the Pathe newsreel as he arrives at Tilbury in 1948 off the Windrush , albeit never recorded by him until this, his first UK disc. So much to unpack in such marvelous condition. All 78s are carefully packaged in card, bubble wrap and void before being sent first class in a doubleskin box.
