Description

        For sale   THE  JAMAÏCAN  CALYPSONNIANS  with  LORD  LEBBY  (2 records),  and  HUBERT  PORTER  (1 record),   DUKE  OF  IRON  &  HIS  TRINIDAD  TROUBADOURS . Set of 4 x 78 RPM 10" on KALYPSO  RL102, TH2/3, M934/873,  and TIMES  RECORD  UD.1007  (the Hubert Porter session) . Original  Jamaïcan pressing. Condition  Records: NM  / Labels: near Unplayed.  The records are glossy and in an exeptional condition. There is two little light trace on one face. The 4 records play perfectly with an excellent sound quality and the stunning dynamic of the 78 RPM. The music is pure MENTO and is a good exemple of what was the music in the English Antilla before Ska, Reggae, Spouge, Cadencelypso, Ragamufin, etc... A real good moment of excellent music where is still traces of African roots and Jazz. A nice opportunity to own these rare records in a such exeptional condition. Don't miss it...
