Universal Music Argentina presents the vinyl reissue of “Himno de mi corazón”, the third album that cemented Los Abuelos de la Nada's status. This select group of brilliant composers, instrumentalists, and producers stormed into a privileged position on the Argentine music scene with a string of hits. The band then aimed for another leap forward and traveled to Ibiza to record their third album. There, on August 3, 1984, they began recording at Mediterráneo Studios on the paradisiacal island, and it was released in October. Although the band's name appears in the production credits, Cachorro López and Andrés Calamaro were actually at the mixing console. The hit-making machine was once again in full swing: Miguel Abuelo with “Lunes por la madrugada”, followed by Calamaro with “Hombre lobo”, “En línea”, “No puedo decirte no” and Gustavo Bazterrica with “La fórmula del éxito”, to name just a few. A special mention goes to the title track of the album, “Himno de mi corazón”. With music composed by Cachorro López in 1983 and lyrics written by Miguel Abuelo, the song is a true anthem. It is undoubtedly one of the most celebrated songs in the history of Argentine rock. “Himno de mi corazón” returns after being out of print for years, on vinyl, full remastered sound and with the original artwork.
