Los Six-Zag

Sony Music DEP-980 / 1992 / Argentina

.......... (White label promotional)

Tantos Deseos De Ti (Tanta Voglia Di Lei)

.......... (Same both sides)

1st and only pressing released in 1992 on Sony Music, Argentina. As usual in this region, the title is translated into Spanish. ULTRA RARE promotional single, which was NEVER commercially released to the public. It was sent out EXCLUSIVELY to selected radio stations, and a few record stores ONLY!

Featured here is an unknown cover version of I Pooh's Tanta Voglia Di Lei, sung in Spanish. Los Six-Zag was an obscure band from Argentina, which apparently tried to promote the music of I Pooh in the early 1990s, but not much is known about them. This is probably the first copy ever offered for sale on eBay, and might be interesting for collectors of I Pooh.

From the early-80s to 1992 the 45s (EPs~singles) in Argentina were released for promotional purposes ONLY! 1992 was actually the last year that vinyl records were manufactured in the region. The few releases made in that late period only got a ridiculously limited run, and are extremely hard to find, but particularly in such FINE condition!
